Vegys

I went to the New Amsterdam Market at the South Street Seaport today. It was so great to see all those vendors selling wholesome, local food. As an added bonus, I got to see a friend of mine from High School who was there selling her pies. PLUS... most of the booths were giving free tastes!! I tasted ice cream, veal chop, pickles, maple syrup, cheese, wine, whiskey and lots of different kinds of bread. I didn't get to try these vegys, but they looked so pretty I had to take their photo.
