Let There Be Light
With Mrs S sleeping following her night shift I headed off to the boatyard with a boot full of tools and bits and pieces.
This ‘throw away society’ that we live in meant that it was cheaper to buy a 50m extension cable and cut the cable off the drum - crazy.
I had put the blue external plug onto the cable last night so it was a matter of running out the cable, removing the existing socket and replacing it with a waterproof connector box and connecting up to the distribution board inside.
One replacement light, four extra sockets, white and information boards up and we were ready to go.
Next up for next week will be connecting the water and arranging the drainage.
Home to spend some time with Mrs S before heading off to the RNA meeting. I was fortunate to win a crate of beer in the raffle and surprisingly felt myself not tempted to break “Dry January”.
During the day I had to head into town to pick up a replacement light tube and on my return to the car park snapped this cheeky chappy on my roof.
