Wild & Wonderful Women

A day with some powerhouse women today. First off with Sole. It felt special to be with her on a difficult day for her, to be able to have coffee and talk...a privilege. Then off to San An to see someone else I've known from a distance for a long time, but today we really connected and shared a lot. I feel excited about the friendship...several hours passed by quickly. Then home just before Danny and the kids got back from swimming. And after Danny's class I went off to meet another friend who's having a hard time at the moment. Again, hours passed listening to her.
And now, the kids are in bed after a slightly difficult bedtime. Asha's totally overwhelmed by the amount of work she needs to do. We heard her crying in the dark poor soul. I went and lay down with her and cuddled her til she was calmer. 
And now, studying!! Argh...not sure how these night-time study sessions will work really, I'm not a night owl at all.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Time with Sole - what a special soul. A privilege to share highs and lows of life with her.
2) Taking the scenic route bus home from San An and getting to see my favourite view on the island.
3) These strong gorgeous women I've had time with today - one Roma Gypsy, one Irish, on Ibicenca.
