Had a counsellor appointment this morning- we seem to be moving on to strategies now. Got home and finished tidying up after yesterday- my Dad was bothered that he didn't have ‘proper china’ for his afternoon tea so I dug mine out to take as well as all the food ( spart from the coonut cake).
Got the bus to town for craft group afterwards. It was supposed to be resin work which I was looking forward to but the tutor was ill so we did a self-lead session - chicken - scratch embroidery. Interesting to learn about the history of it and have a go . From there I went to the cinema to meet NH to see Priscilla. It was disturbing in parts , rather slow and a bit too long. Am pleased I watched it but wouldn’t rush to see it. Blip is a photo of the concert hall and theatre from the cinema. Whilst I was there I had a phone call from G. C had a consultant appointment earlier in the day. The really good news is that her disease is in remission . The less good news is that he was really concerned about her recovery. He expected that she would be sitting up for most of the day and starting to walk again. She spends virtually all her day in bed. The decision has been made to re- admit her to hospital where she will have access to physios and other services, and hopefully get her on the road to recovery. G and I agreed that this was a good outcome, C is less convinced. However she did agree to the plan which is a big step.
