Early Morning Checks

A beautiful morning, calm and sunny spells.  A cloudy afternoon with the odd shower, and winds picked up. 

Another early shift in the airport.  A busy morning with offshore check-ins and charter flights, then meeting and boarding flights.  An afternoon on the check-in desk.  All flights in and out early, apart from last cancelled Edinburgh.  Haggis, neeps and tatties for tea this evening.  Mam popped by, a walk around the village, then a cuppa.  Feet up now. 

A lovely morning to be outside working, especially considering it's January in Shetland.  After boarding the morning Aberdeen flight, I was waiting to confirm my final checks with the captain and cabin crew, while the ramp agents did their walk around, checking for any discrepancies on the aircraft, Aiden Robertson busy here.  A red sky in the morning, turned into a warning, thankfully not as bad as the past few days.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
