A bit of growth and a bit of sun

Outside mid morning,  putting more bird food in and under the tree. I spotted this new growth - I’m fairly sure it’s a euphorbia of some kind. And a teeny weak shadow, how lovely. 
Did my big supermarket shop this morning - I get absolutely everything I need in one store - a habit I got into when I was a working mum, and carer for my mum, and had no time.  Every week it’s between £90-100.  Two years ago it was £60-65.  
Good afternoon at Oxfam, cheery atmosphere, some excellent book donations coming in. But our manager is leaving in 5 weeks, and I’ll miss her terribly.  She’s the glue that keeps everything going, and she sets the tone that makes it fun to be there.  Yet another person moving to Cornwall - thought her partner is Cornish, so it’s more going back.  I know things have to change,  but sometimes I wish they wouldn’t.
