Billy the Bather

I have a freshwater pond where I can usually see bathing pelicans and bathing cormorants. Not always, but usually.

This afternoon, there were probably 6 pelicans and 5 cormorants bathing. When you see them dunk their head under water, you know they are going up with the wings, and beating them back down into the water. It is one of my favorite bird things and I could watch it for hours.

The 3 of us went to have lunch today with my brother Jim and s-i-l Joy, then we did a little shopping. 

After my chicken dinner, we are now waiting to dive into Lisa's peach cobbler.
