The Silent Quintet

This is the silent quintet that serenades the users of the toilets in the Söderberg Pavilion Café.

On another miserable day of rain and wind, they were a cheery bunch to see when I returned from town this morning for a restorative chai latte after a foray into town to forage for food.
I lingered as long as I could in the bustle and sociability of the café before returning home to make a large vegetable casserole  and stock up the freezer.

I had thought to go out again to return two library books, but seeing the shear misery of what lay beyond the windows, I chickened out and am now hunkered down with the heating on waiting for Jocelyn to blow in and make her presence felt.
