It's a bike Jim............

I stepped off the train in Queen St station Glasgow straight into the chaos that was the British Road Race Championship taking place around Glasgow City streets. So I thought what an ideal opportunity for a bip of speeding bikes zipping passed inches away from my camera. However in the event the photographic hand of fate intervened and the blip I got was not at all what I had in mind originally.

As I waited for the speeding bikes and riders to appear at the Trongate a rather different bike and rider appeared at my side in the form of a wooden bike and a university student. It's reassuring to see there are still folks out there who think along more alternate lines than the rest of us.
