Billy Jean

I was just about to do my shopping in Waitrose in Morningside when I spotted a Film Festival limo pull up out side the Dominion cinema. Always the curious one I went to investigate. As I always keep a camera in the car I double parked and leapt out just in time to catch Billy Jean King doing a photo call for the press guys. She was always my fave player when I was wee mainly because she wore specs and was a great player. I wore specs and was rubbish tennis player but at least we both wore specs.
Anyway Billy Jean was at the premier of Battle of the Sexes a docu\film about women's battle for equality in the tennis area during the 60's.
Still it was just great to see her in such good form.
