Tidying

Sometimes I wonder if I should get them to tidy, but overall think they need to take responsibility for their toys. 

I swam with the boys this morning, we had a great time. Of course, one was ready to get out before the other, which was a challenge! 

This afternoon saw new additions to the house with an outing by the husband and boys to buy more fish. They also spent £10 on a piece of decorative wood for the fish tank. The irony is it is the same wood that grown on the husbands parents farm! Am hoping all the new fish will be alive tomorrow morning. 

I cooked while everyone was out. Mastered flapjacks thanks to a new recipe from my mother in law, made roast beef, which was the worst joint of beef we've ever eaten, to the point it was so tough you could barely eat it. To add insult to that, it broke my new blender as it was so tough the motor on the blender over heated! The boys also declared that my pudding wasn't as good as the one granny makes. So not the best adventures in the kitchen!
