Nadine Pierce, a snapshot

Manky sheep

I spotted these sheep on my way over to Whitmuir today- so glad I don't have to live outdoors. There wasn't much at their car boot to tempt me so headed on down to Stobo.

I hadn't heard anything since my final destination moment last Sunday so decided to ask the receptionist why no-one had been in touch. Turns out, neither maintenance or the reception had bothered to log my incident.

Apparently there were a lot of calls and meetings, I completed a health and safety incident form (and sent a photo of my detached hair) and the manager will be in contact with a formal apology, once they've had a report from maintenance.

I was also offered a cpl of free water bed treatments. As I've explained that wasn't the point of 'this' (and doubt I'll bother) it was more the fact of it being acknowledged and apologised for. Apparently, the whole hydropool is awaiting replacement. A bit like a fitted kitchen, when bits go wrong it's difficult to fix.

The roads home were getting quite floody and we've had our first tile sliding off the roof already. It's pretty wild out there just now.
