Blue Ball

A mild 5 degrees today. Merlin found a few interesting items on his walks today, including this space hopper. He was very interested in it and managed to paw and nose it around for a while.

I had a few energetic hours at the allotment filling the wheel barrow with manure and spreading it under the black currant bushes and apples trees. Then I made a new path out of wood chippings.

Grateful today:
- For a fun and productive two hours alone at the allotment.
- For Merlin keeping me amused with his discoveries on his walks.
- For freshly baked bread from the village bakery and homemade green vegetable soup for lunch.
