Yeah, They're Scones. Lumix M4/3 14mm
It's a frigid 21°F today: that's -6°C anywhere else in the world, and no sane person should be out.
I baked a new recipe for "biscuits". The recipe called for a 3/4 cup of half-and-half, and 4 tablespoons of butter, but don't worry, it's gluten free... As I was reading through the convoluted text offering all sorts of "healthy" ingredients that could be substituted to avoid various food allergies, the penny dropped: this is basically a scone recipe. Acting accordingly, I rolled out the dough, cut circles with an appropriate wine glass, pinched in the sides, and brushed the blanks with milk for color. Actually, they were delicious with a vegetable soup I made yesterday. Marmite went very well too - for those who love it.
