A Sunday afternoon Canal walk
I went to morning Christian Fellowship and came home feeling full of the joys of Summer.
The grandsons were at birthday parties, so after some lunch, Maria and I went for a circular canal walk in a very strong wind.It was really cold and blustery but exhilerating, and I was glad to be wearing my green fleece. That's Maria in her pink kagoul in the centre of the blip, pulling her sleeves down over her cold hands. These are some of the things we spottted as we walked and talked:
A lovely old oak tree in a field of buttercups with horses grazing in the pasture.
A dear little foal and mare.
Two rooks flying above the field and then settling on a drystone wall.
A farmhouse dated to 1878.
Have a lovely evening fellow blippers.
We shall be watching the second episode of the White Queen.
