Keeping the dream alive.
It was good to meet ecclescake, fellow blipper, on the corner of Abbey Street in Accrington this morning, as Maria and I came to watch our friend and long time member of the Prospects Foundation and Rishton Prospects Panel, Colin Cooper, of Rishton, carry the Olympic flame.
It was a wonderfully joyful crowd and a very special event.
It was not raining, but cool and cloudy as people lined the streets of town.
As I contemplated the symbolism of the light , I realised its spiritual significance.
These are some words from the New Testament to share with you:
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven."
