A little bit of winter in the park
Wok up to find a covering of white which could have been frost or snow. It wasn't until I went out before lunch that I found out it was snow. Not the knee high covering other places have had, but a covering nonetheless. I couldn't walk my normal route as I didn't have icegrippers on. A small diversion, and in most places the paths and pavements were fine. As the temperature was rising, where the sun had made it to the ground, the snow had melted. At this spot in the local park, there was evidence that it had snowed.
Most of this had gone by the time partner and I went for our afternoon walk. Fife looked quite nice in the sunlight, but I had left the camera at home, so could get a photo. Definitely not as cold as yesterday, But it is Friday, so coffee and cake in a café
