What has happened to my Daffodils?

They are just over a week old now, so for £1 that’s not bad, but 5 of them have never opened! This one is passable and 3 have died, which is to be expected. But I’ve never had daffodils that haven’t opened! Very strange. Busy day of cleaning , but not dusting, I feel I’ve done enough ;0) the dust will still be there on Monday!
