Yellow Card

We reccyed a walk today that we are leading for the rambling club on Wednesday. It was a glorious but cold day, and we started from the frost covered gardens of Oldway Mansion.
The official birdwatcher realised she had forgotten her binoculars so I gave her a yellow (hammer) card. Later on we were trying unsuccessfully to find a great spotted woodpecker that was drumming away, so this was upgraded to a red (wing) card. I really should get a pair of my own. 
Tonight we went to the Galmpton history society meeting in Galmpton village hall. The moon had an aura around it, and just as we went out the door to go to the meeting, we saw the international space station fly over, with Jupiter in the background.
