Bus Pass Walk

Backblipped for Tuesday. A slight covering of snow this morning - not too much thank goodness as car had to go in for its MOT.  5 of us caught the bus to Eldwick and walked through Milner Field (rather icy) and down to the river where a tree was caught on the rocks. Then onto to Hirst Wood for a coffee stop at The Upper Ground. The canal was frozen in many places as we walked back to Bingley (blipsnap with Corinthian), but it didn't feel too cold and we had sunshine and just very light sleet showers. Lunch had been booked at Lavinia's, and very nice it was too - some interesting dishes between us. Going to be a very cold night, and ice already forming, but the car passed the MOT - I was quite surprised, but pleased of course!
