Swans on ice, Inverleith Park
I snapped these swans on the frozen Inverleith Park boating pond this afternoon. I was on my way with Mr hazelh to the Western General Hospital to attend a joint appointment for the vaccinations needed for our holiday next month.
Earlier in the day we made another joint mission across town, this time by tram. We travelled to Haymarket, then walked along Dalry Road to a shop that sells the model of riser-recliner chair that we chose for Mummy hazelh at the Smart centre on Monday. Here we paid the deposit on the chair in question and selected a suitable fabric for its upholstery. The chair should be with us in about six weeks.
In between these outings I helped Mr hazelh with the laundry, fed the birds, darned one of Mummy hazelh's jumpers, kept Mummy hazelh company (chatting on her bed in her room, and watching television together in the sitting room), dealt with Mummy hazelh's accountants, and kept an eye on work and domestic correspondence on email and WhatsApp.
Oh, and I saw Princess Anne in the back of a Land Rover when on my way to the tram stop this morning.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; walking (21,017 steps).
