White on Wednesday

Sunshine! We got sunshine! And I ran out to the shore to see it, although I did have to wear a long-sleeved shirt and a hoodie.

The pelicans (both white and brown) were quite active this morning, and I got a few good flyers. I put one into my extras. For a clumsy bird, they are graceful in the air, but their landings leave a lot to be desired.

I made chicken and rice soup tonight to take over to my brother Jim's house for dinner, then the 5 of us went to an ice cream social, followed by a concert by a couple of guys. Fun.

The white pelicans are not my favorite, but they are a handsome bird.
