New visitor

Despite putting seed feeders out, we haven't yet attracted many birds to our garden.  We have one Wren who comes quite frequently, an occasional Robin and Pied Wagtail or two, and of course, the often present Wood Pigeons.  However, over the last few days I've noticed this male Blackbird has started visiting quite often, particularly late in the afternoon when he scours the lawn for grubs.

Today he was standing almost motionless next to a fallen apple in one of the borders for quite a long time.  He allowed me to come out of the back door to take a few shots but wasn't happy when I got a bit closer.  Hopefully, he will return.
