A Sparrow in a Pear Tree

Taken through the kitchen window this morning……after I had topped up the feeders.  My pear tree is due for pruning but Kieran will not stand on top of my shed roof until the cold, frosty spell of weather comes to an end …. the Sparrows and Goldfinches are pleased!

My favourite weather conditions today …… crisp, clear and very cold. We had no snow and no black ice but a very stubborn layer of thin frost took some time to remove before I could set out this morning.
