Ice

A rather strange day weather wise. Cold through the night but the frost in the morning was easily removed from the car. No snow has fallen but anticipating the worst I watched two council employees spreading salt on the pavements then we had a spell of quite heavy rain! Wonder what tomorrow will bring?

Holly had her little op last Thursday. She is not allowed off the lead and she is not supposed to jump up and down …… the first is easy but the second is impossible. Knowing there was going to be no ball play we headed to Rouken Glen where she had never been before. Good paths to walk on and dozens of other doggies to meet and greet.

It was very cold and at the sides of the waterfall tumbling into the Auldhouse Burn I spied my first icicles and ice lumps of 2024.
