Sally Mair - Loving life

shoe hoo!

No snow here today, which is good as Colin drove north today. It started snowing as he got to Banchory adding to yesterday's fall but caused no problems.
I went over to Dunfermline just after lunch. While there I popped into the Red Cross charity shop. These shoes were at the door! I commented to the volunteer how striking they were. She was very pleased as she had just moved them to the door so they would be better seen. Talk about bling!
I had a productive afternoon. Eilidh is going to have our old beanbag, so I took the cover off today to wash it. I made an inner bag many years ago as the beans were loose inside. When I opened it all up today, I was most impressed by what a good job I had made of it. I rather think I made a pattern using the segments of the outer bag as a template. It's done a good job at any rate.
I cannot believe what it's going on in US politics. It seems unreal.
