Winter sun

What a gorgeous day! Yes it’s really cold but so bright. I spent three very happy hours clearing up in the garden and sitting in the sun with a cuppa then out for a walk with my pal Annie. Our nearest gravel pit has recently been returned to walkers and fishing fanatics after the company has finished with it for now. The water is always spectacular on a sunny day and it certainly was today.

Yesterday I missed blipping (nothing new there) as it was book club day - we had a brilliant and invigorating discussion of Barbara Kingsolver’s Demon Copperhead. What a great book!
