Simon's studio

I was on the road by six o'clock this morning, getting back to Salford and the office for half-past ten. 

In the afternoon, I walked to Islington Mill to visit Simon in his new studio. He's only just beginning to get set up - he has a desk and a couple of chairs in there - but even so it feels like it puts his whole Not Quite Light project on a different footing. 

We went across the courtyard and had a tea and cakes at Deli Lama where we were joined by the Minx, which was lovely.

And she and I finished our day with a curry in Kirkby Lonsdale. Splendid!
