Cold Paws
All the cats enjoyed being outside in the garden today, sniffing the snow and watching the birds at their feeders. It’s still only a thin layer of white stuff, but tomorrow we could get up to 40 centimetres of it, which would be a rare sight in this area.
Alternatively, we could get a lot of black ice, or a mixture of ice and snow. The Deutscher Wetterdienst has issued a purple weather warning for ice tomorrow, in a big part of southwestern Germany (see map in the extra) and a red weather warning for snow to the north of it. We’re just on the borderline, so it might be an interesting day.
When I went to the gym this morning, I also went grocery shopping, and later cooked a big pot of soup. So, tomorrow we can stay at home and not go out, except to shovel snow (or hack ice) in front of the house.
