Dear Green Place 20 - Rottenrow Gardens

... formerly Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital ('Rottenrow'), hence the giant nappy pin: George Wyllie's Maternity. The hospital was at this site from 1860 till 2001. The gardens belong to Strathclyde University and opened to the public in 2003, as part of the University's 40th anniversary celebrations.

A quick stop to eat lunch and watch some guys practising parkour moves in the fountain area and around the steps.
