Brrrrr!!!!!!

The temperatures have stayed below freezing all last night and today!  So glad we didn't have rain or snow, though there was a little morning fog to create a thin layer of frost or ice in some places.  I have not set foot outside and for the birds I just tossed some birdseed out onto the deck.  My wonderful husband took a couple of small containers of water out there for the birds to dip into.  I wasn't sure that I would get any takers on my scattered seeds, but this beautiful  male cardinal dropped by, along with a Carolina Wren and a White-wing Dove.  I heard some Blue Jays discussing the possibility of coming down, but they never did.  Thanks to Steveng for hosting........
