From Rembrandt to Rego

This time I had a bad night of only 4 hours sleep but we got going and had a 3.5 mile walk up to Kinghorn Loch and a too-sweet mocha in the ecology centre. There had been a skirving of snow in the night but it was a sunny morning.

When I got to Edinburgh en route home I had time to have a quick look at the Print Exhibition “From Rembrandt to Rego”. I loved the range of types of printing exhibited and the styles of the great variety of artists. Nothing is comparable to Durer but I was pleased to see a Kathe Kollewitz one of my favourite artists. And it was fun going round and being able to see if I could identify different artists before checking. However I’ve chosen one area for my blip as I loved the way it was displayed.

I’m really tired but so pleased I could go as I left Jenny much more together.
