Blue Monday...

Not sure why the song 'fly me to the moon' is currently stuck in my head!!

So it's Blue monday, supposedly the most depressing day of the year - according to a travel company who made this thing up! - but I do like what the Samaritans have done today to change it to 'Brew Monday' ... not that I ever need an excuse for a cuppa! - so time for another cuppa!

and there's blue sky to celebrate the day, but much colder temperatures today so we haven't ventured far.  Did a bit of food shopping and had a short walk at the nature reserve which was empty albeit for gulls and a chubby robin! maybe he'd eaten all the other birds!!

And not depressing news from our friends last night, as they updated us on their daughter who had a stroke last week - the operation went well and she is responding well to treatment, although there's still a long road ahead but it's definitely looking a bit brighter for them.
