Blue Sky and Sausage Rolls

It was a good morning for a walk at Emsworth. Although the weather was initially grey, as we wandered the sun broke through and the sky turned blue. It was reasonably calm so warmth could be felt in the sunshine. Wintering birds were plentiful on the foreshore.

No sausage rolls from the bakery today - much to Merlin’s disgust. Instead we had homemade ones with mugs of tea when we got home, and in my case as I had a good long blether on the phone with my sister.

Grateful today:
- For a day free to do as we pleased.
