Trixie's Adventures

St Michael's Mount

We came back to Cornwall in mid December and since then, we've hardly left St Ives. Initially this was due to really rainy, windy, horrible weather. And my human spending hours writing her book - 'My life in lock down - first draft is now finished!!!  More recently, it's been due to my human working loads of shifts at the 'Harbour Pool Club' and not having the time to take me off on adventures.

However, she has three days off, so this afternoon she said, 'Trixie, would you like to go to Long Rock? We will walk to Marazion along the beach, I will Blip you with St Michael's Mount in the background and then we will walk back again.'

OMG?! It was like the whole world had decided to go on the same adventure. The car park was really busy and although you can't see it in this photo, there were loads of people wandering around on the beach.
I really enjoyed my walk this afternoon but I would have enjoyed it more if I'd been allowed to take my ball. Unfortunately I'd already been for a play in the field, with my ball this morning, in between Ann going to Zumba and having friends round for coffee. She doesn't allow me to play with my ball all the time because she's worried that loads of jumping for it will be bad for my joints. As if?!!

I'm a bit tired now. I've been in a deep sleep and dreaming because I'm making little squeaky noises as though I'm chasing bunnies or squirrels snoozing in my bed ever since we got home. It's gone really cold again and we've got the heating on full. However, this afternoon, Ann had to take off her gloves and undo her jacket. Maybe Cornwall is starting to heat up a bit??????

Tomorrow morning Ann is going swimming (indoors, not in the sea, lol) but she's promised to take me off on another adventure tomorrow afternoon and on Tuesday.

Watch this space.

Toodles. xx
