The Moors

Today I walked over to the reserve to see what state it's in.  When it closed I was told it would open in 4-6 days.  That was 10 days ago and I wouldn't think there's a chance of it opening anytime soon.  Here is the thrush that sings by the gate (a bit piano today), the notice on the gate itself and a glimpse of the water.  The reason the wet's likely to linger is that new flood defences for the City were installed a couple of years ago so it all backs up in the reserve.

Have any of you got snow yet?  I'm not sure if we'll get it - maybe a few flakes.  I'd like one white morning at least just for the fun of blipping it.
