Today's quiz

Humshaugh Wildlife Group went for a walk by the North Tyne today, starting at Chipchase Castle. We walked by the river and then over the fields to Gunnerton.

This is a close up of one of my images from the day. It has an unusual beauty I think. Who will be able to recognise it though? The only prize is the glory of being mentioned in my Blip entry! (The most likely contender is in Croatia so the field is open to others.)

It rained on and off. Arth was almost completely happy with the 5 miles and we had a slap up lunch at the Barrasford Arms. Beats the usual soggy sandwiches!!

We also visited the wonderful Chipchase Castle Nursery where I bought an unusual aquilegia and a thistle.
