PlayTime

A good night in the Premier Inn Hub as usual and woke on a lovely sunny morning and headed out. Checked out some of the street art and then to Spitalfields Market and down along the river. Glorious weather. We were headed for the Prince Charles Cinema: the only independent cinema in London for a screening of Jacques Tati's classic film 'PlayTime': one of the films my son wrote an essay about it for his Film Theory module of his degree and I've seen it several times but not on the big screen. It's a classic and loved it. Out and grabbed some food before the return journey to Ely then back home around 7ish to get ready for the return to work... Christmas holiday - done.
