After a week without rain, I thought it might be safe to go for a walk around the old canal reservoir (my iPhone suggests the last time we went there was 4 June 2023).


The extra shows I was slightly over optimistic and Kassie now has a muddy belly.

Near the end of the circular path is a pylon and for as long as I can remember it has been “protected” by a hedge of brambles.

It looks like there has been recent significant undergrowth clearance allowing me to stand underneath and take a photo vertically upwards with blue sky.
