Camara de Lobos

It’s not been a very nice day weather-wise. Apparently we are in the midst of the Hipolito Depression which has caused damage in the Azores. It is less intense here but we have had mainly cloudy skies with some heavy rain especially when we were out walking this morning. No matter though, we had been expecting it and went out with a full set of waterproofs each to walk from our hotel to Camara de Lobos. It took just under two hours but we did have a few stops to take cover from the heaviest rain and to take some photos of the wild Atlantic seas.
When we arrived in Camara de Lobos we were met by a little posse of 8 cats, the two bravest ones featured in my blip. We didn’t stay long, only for a coffee and pastel de nata as it was pretty quiet with not much open, I guess they knew about the weather and decided it wasn’t worth opening up!
