Started the day waiting for a phone GP appointment booked on line for 8.50-9. Nothing had happened by 10 am so phoned the surgery and spent 35 minutes on hold. Finally got through to be told appointment was for any time between 8 and 12 but it couldn’t be displayed like that on the booking system. Ok- but i had rescheduled a therapist appointment to fit in! Walked up to appointment for 11.15 snd GO phoned at 11.20. Took the call - swift snd efficient , got the meds U wanted but not on repeat prescription as they like to have an appointment before issuing more. When I politely pointed out it was very difficult to book an appointment the GP did it for me. Therapist appointment went well I think . Walked up to the Avenue and had a quick lunch snd then got the bus to town as Craft Group has started again . Paper cutting this week- it was a lot more difficult than I expected to get clean, neat and accurate cuts! Had to leave 30 minutes early as a plumber was due to call in - think I have a leak somewhere in the shower room. He forgot though- very apologetic and will come tomorrow at 11. Adam also coming to replace the cracked upstand in the kitchen
