seeing double....

A frosty but sunny morning, and a grey, cloudy afternoon!

In need of a wander this morning so I braved the frosty pavements and headed to the local nature reserve , where the cold had thankfully frozen over the muddy paths! Not so good on the way back as they were thawing!!  But a lovely wander was had despite there being very little bird activity for the short time I was there!  The presence of a kestrel and marsh harrier might have had something to do with that!  But I did see these lovely song thrushes hiding in the grassy area, and also a few reed bunting and stonechats.

And this afternoon we had our Sainsbury order delivered - the driver phoned to ask if he could deliver an hour earlier as he was in the area so we said yes! Must drive them mad being given a set route to take!
