The Tabby cat and canal.
The Feast Day of Saint Theodosius the Cenobiarch. ( A Cenobiarch is a leader of monks.) 423 AD.
It is 4c but feels like 1c. Very cold air and apart from feeding the birds, and a short walk to the canal, I decided it is best to be in the warmth indoors. Paul and me up potted a pierus plant to a bigger, stronger flowerpot. The old pot was broken in a very strong gale.
We ordered a new greenhouse from Aosom online, the company we bought the ones from last year. The wind gusted the green fabric of those two very vigously and pulled them from the green guy ropes. It was so traumatic to see them floating down the garden. They were bought in the Summer heatwave and cost £54 each. We could not have imagined how windy it would be in October and November. The shelving can be transferred to the new greenhouse, thankfully. This new one cost £350, and has a base foundation, green metal framework and polycarbonate windows. I was surprised the dpd deliverer brought it this afternoon. He kindly lifted the packages into our porch. When Paul came back from Tesco shopping he carried the flat packs into the garage where it will remain until we construct it. I have a tin full of garden seeds to plant in late February, or early March. I pray we get decent weather.
I hope you like my collage of part of the Leeds Liverpool canal and Tabby with enormous whiskers and ginger stripe.
Thank you for dropping by and keep warm blip friends.
