Encroaching Marsh

Full marsh cradles sky
Storm's grace a fleeting whisper
Nature's breath unfolds


School was cancelled due to the significant wind and rain brought by this latest storm. Considering that part of the roof blew off during the last big blow, I can understand why the decision was made to be prudent. I've seen reports of significant road damage in various places along the shore, but did not venture out further than the encroaching waters of the marsh. The place where I took Sunday's photo was completely under water.

Strangely enough, I spend part of the day acquainting myself with the phenomenon that is Chat GPT. I'm afraid, after various prompts from me, that is where today's haiku came from.
