Keeping Busy, Keeping Warm

It was a bitterly cold walk round to our fortnightly house group meeting at Rev Christine’s. We’re delving deeply into Acts at the moment, and this morning we wrestled with a somewhat intellectual concept of the relationship between heaven and earth. One thing I miss about working at the BBC is getting my teeth into a good meaty discussion, so I really enjoyed it today. We only got halfway through chapter 1, so our explorations of all 28 chapters in the book could take some months!

Another bitterly cold walk up to the hairdresser’s after lunch, where the chat was somewhat lighter.

My late Mum is in a way still looking after me, because I can snuggle under one of the blankets she made for me and keep warm on chilly evenings, which is actually very comforting.
