Grey Heron

There were 8 heron today 7 landed at the entrance to the park. Most significantly the little female and the chick landed at the same side along with one of the adults. The little female picked a piece of fish up and was immediately set upon by the chick who came out on top. The little female flew further away from the chick and was then chased off by the male. I made my way to the slope to find her and as soon as I got there she flew over to me. The others followed but as she was quite close to me they left her alone. The little chick had no reservations and stood on the other side. I fed them both then made for the clearing where the male was waiting. 
The crows got biscuits as usual.
