Grey Heron

Only got 1 shot today before a message came up saying the card was full/ However it is an OK shot of the little female.
Anyhow there were 8 heron again today - on the slope this time. The chick was there so I was making sure she got a good share as it can be a difficult time for the younger herons. A bit of fish landed between her and an adult male. The male got there first but she flicked up her crest took a step forward and ripped the fish from the adults beak. I forgot how aggressive she used to be. She did the same to a crow who caught a bit in mid air and was settling down to eat it. 
I then went to the clearing and fed the adult male.
There were a few more crows who all got biscuits.
