Wedding preparations

Not for me sadly! My youngest son and his gorgeous partner are getting married in France in late summer and I’m collecting rose petals to dry for confetti. The idea is to get them from gardens they know and love - mine, the in-laws, my mum, my daughter, my friends who’ve known Joe since he was born. The project is going well as 2023 was such a great year for roses. Today my neighbour brought me her Christmas roses to add. While they’re not grown by me the colour is irresistible so they’re on the drying tray ready for the big day.
