A long lie and then took arkle and finn to out apiary.

We stopped on way for a long walk by a burn. Stunning frosty day with scents preserved for excited dogs.

Got to hives and let dogs run free so I could admire tinto . They found and chased the resident hare.

As well cold put foam in the entrance and moved a hive. Bees had taken up home in the spare pile of hives so moved to a plinth.


Tea and chat with the laird and his wife.

Dogs strolled back up to take foam out of entrance.

Home via a marketplace bargain pick up.
