Well, Doggone!

And so it has..gone from the store that is, and currently residing chez moi! I finally relented and for the sake of maintaining laughter in this house, adopted said dog-yet-to-be-named...encouraged to do so by both my sister and brother and approved, after the fact, by my daughter...heh heh...

It has been a busy few days with company, the pleasure of which was somewhat subdued by my worry over Maggie...she is still not well, and I  fear something other than her arthritis may be the issue..I know I have to be patient - the meds won't click in right away,  but I just have a nagging feeling that there is something else going on...

It was good though to have family around. In winter we don't see each other often; the cottage in summer is where all our paths cross. Because of distance and weather not conducive to travel, it takes a special effort to get together in winter! Oh, and add on flu, colds, Covid and RSV! Yikes.
A very belated Christmas it was....

And today everyone left - just Maggie and me again...
